Atoms combine to form molecules. 2 atoms of hydrogen and 1 atom of oxygen combine to form a molecule of water. 2H2 + O2 ------→ 2H2O

How to change subject and object of the reported speech? -

Follow the interesting formula of -

S O N ( to se in reporting speech)

.........

1 2 3 (to see in reported speech)

  • Here S indicates Subject, O is for object and N means no change.
  • 1 indicates first person, 2 is for second person and 3 means third person.

Example:

He says,"I am your best friend."

He says that he is your best friend.

  • So, we have noted here that I of reported speech is first person so it is changed according to the subject of reporting speech as he.

Greetings to you all!

There are mainly four core skills that will have to be developed in any language which are:

  • Listening skill
  • Reading skill
  • Speaking skill
  • Writing skill

Let's look at each of these skills, one by one, to see how they could be enhanced:

1) Listening skill:

  • When someone else is talking, never interrupt.
  • Never talk over them, wait for your turn.
  • Eliminate distractions.
  • Actively listen, and not just hear.
  • Clarify your doubts/queries once the speaker completes his/her turn.
  • Reflect on the overall discussion.

2) Reading skill:

  • Read with correct expressions.

  • Analyze phonics and spellings.
  • Use a dictionary extensively to learn more about new words.
  • When you learn a new word, think of all its other forms. eg: Beautiful (adjective), beauty (noun), beautifully (adverb)
  • Remember that the same word may sometimes be one part of speech, and sometimes another. E.g., That brick(noun) is yellow. Here is a brick(adjective) house.
  • New words are more comfortable to remember if sentences are formed using them.

3) Speaking skill:

  • Speak slowly, but not too slowly.
  • Pause between ideas.
  • Carefully articulate and pronounce your words.
  • Expand your vocabulary.
  • Learn the natural flow of English.

4) Writing skill:

  • Punctuation makes a huge difference.
  • Grammar matters.
  • Practice spellings of unfamiliar words.
  • Be wary of the differences between American and British English. We follow British English. e.g., the favourite is British English, and the favourite is American English.
  • Plan and outline the content first rather than to directly spring into action.
