Overview

After retirement from Industry I started my fresh career as Management Teacher. As a Director of Management Institute, it was more of administrative work and so I started as Visiting Faculty for various subjects in Post-graduate Institutes of Management and Clinical Research. I have been teaching subjects like Quantitative Methods, Statistics, Operations Research, Research Methods, Market Research, etc. There had been very good acceptance by students as well as Institutes. I have been also helping Clinical Research students in their qualifying thesis for Statistical analysis of their data.
I enjoy teaching quantitative subjects staring with single student 100 students in a class.

Assume C as the cost price of one article. So total cost price is 20C. Since profit is 25%, selling price of each is 1.25 C. So selling price of X articles is 1.25 C X. This is equal to Cost of 20 artticles. Therefore 20C=1.25 C X . -> 20=1.25 X -> X = 20/1.25 = 16

Let X be the distance and Y be the initial speed. So initial time require is X/Y hrs. Now form two simultaneous equations. X/(Y+10 = X/Y - 1 and X/(Y+20) = X/Y - 1.75 Solving these two equations we get X = Distance = 420. So answer is 420

The formula is No of ways when letters are repeated = n!/ (p!q!r!) where p,q ,r are the number of repeatations of different letters. In this case n = 11, p = 4, q = 4, and r = 2. So the answer is 11! / (4! 4! 2!) = 34650

20 + 20P/100 = 60 - 60P/100: 80P/100 = 40: P = 50 So 50% of 70 = 35
