I am Bharatnatyam Visharad (certified professional dancer). I have a 1-2 years of experience in training students and adults. I am also do Bollywood & semi classical dance forms. What is aavarta?

An aavartan is mostly used in Indian classical music system. It can be called as a cycle in simple terms.

At the age of 37, can I learn kathak? 

Yes, why not !! but of course under proper trainer with proper fitness, workout needs to be done regularly.
