Will semi acoustic sound same as acoustic even without amplifier?

Yes. There is no difference between an acoustic and semi-acoustic guitar of the same model. Semi-acoustic is nothing but the feature given to natural acoustic guitar to connect it to amps or any other source which helps in performing live or adjusting volume/tone of the guitar.
