Solving for yp(x). yp(x) = 1/(D^2-2D+2) * [sin2x+5] =1/(D^2-2D+2) [sin2x] + 1/(D^2-2D+2) [5] =-1/2D [sin2x] + 5/2 =cos2x/4 + 5/2 There fore the complete solution is yh(x) + yp(x) = e^-x[Acosx+Bsinx] + cos2x/4 +5/2
