Listen to basic vocabulary first of all to understand thier accent.Try to learn the silence words like in Wednesday d is silent,in honour,h is silent ,this will help you to catch faster. Watch English channels/movies with subtitles to understand their accent and write the differences in a notebook whenver necessary.Slowly you will be able to get in sync with the English accent.

Hi Suman, firstly dont treat English as a deadly foreign language. We know there are different slangs in our native language as well. The same rule applies for English.
Tips:
Read and practise English vocabulary daily with some book reading.
Try talking as much English possible.
Try to watch English channels/movies with subtitles to understand their accent.

Read! Read english news papers/ books or just surf online on your phone and read!
Listen! Watch English news, movies etc they also have subtitles, so this helps in understanding the pronunciations of the words you read and vis-a-vis.

You need to have strong vocabulary and grammar in order to understand what a native English speaker is saying. Unless you are good at vocabulary and gramar, you may find it difficult to catch up with the words while trying to tune and understand their accent. Also, native speakers use relaxed pronunciation, contractions, and they link words together.

a) improve your listening skills - this will help you to understand them better.
b) watch more of English movies without sub-titles - this will help you interpret their ascent and nuances.

Practise makes the man/woman perferct.Firstly focus more on your listening skills,hearken what person says and then try to answer so that u can begin to gain some confidence with your speaking.In order to compete with native english speaker you got to strenthen your grammar and thereby leading to increasing your vocablury knowledge.
