Vaishali, is there any specific reason for the job change? If yes, identify the reason why you wanted to change because after you move to IT, Language translator, you should not come across the same situation and plan to move to another field after two years. Keep focussing on improving yourself in the domain which you love to do.

Rahul, hesitation and shyness are the critical barriers for improving your speaking skill not only for English. Reading newspapers/books depends upon your interest, I would suggest having communication with a person who doesn't know your native language. This will help you a lot where you will be forced to speak out English for communication. Keep trying without hesitation and all the best. YOU WILL IMPROVE SOON!
