Teaching Experience in detail in IELTS Coaching classes

Teaching has always been my passion. But coming to IELTS training which I started almost 3 years back has made it all the more exciting. I have created a methodology, where in students will be made very much aware of their task and what they specifically have to do to achieve their task. All the four components will be taken care individually in minute details, so that students will not go unaware on any hurdles that may come up on their way.

To answer the last section of the IELTS listening test;

  1. Utilize the given time to go through questions 31-40 correctly. (skimming)
  2. Underline the keywords to keep pace with the reader or to understand where the speaker reached. Keywords include sub-headings, proper nouns, numerical values both in words and numbers.
  3. Consider words or phrases before and after blank as the most important keywords. Your answer will precede or follow these words. Watch out for synonyms being used.
  4. Do not panic. Stay calm and listen. Wait for the keywords to proceed. To have your eyes on two keywords at a time is also suggested. Keep in mind the speaker will say so many things which are not there in the question paper. Believe yourself and depend on keywords for answers and also to move along with the speaker.

Good luck!

Assuming the question is related to improving communication in the English Language.
First, understand what stops you from speaking in English. It could be mainly due to hesitancy. Find out the reasons for this situation. Like, is it a lack of vocabulary or fear of making grammatical errors? A suggestion is to read, read and read to improve lexical resources. But the precious question is whether you will be able to get enough time for this? If you are not, try reading for 5 to 10 minutes in a stretch: two or three paragraphs that are interesting and non-interesting for you. Note down any exciting new words. Repeat these short time readings multiple times a day. Make sure it combines up into at least one hour in a day.
Secondly, just ignore the grammatical errors for the time being. Make mistakes. Keep in mind; it's a part of the language learning process. If you fear making mistakes, you are gone. Make it, and you will see it is getting self-corrected as you move on.

Mainly, if you are are not a working professional, the case will be more advantages to you because you have more than enough time to spend on preparation. And the best part is you have to reap the benefit of longer time available to prepare. That means daily; you should spend a short period of times on different aspects of language. It will help anyone in the long run finally if you are in the right hand while getting trained on the nuance of the English language nothing better than that to develop your language skills with far-reaching effect.

Along with IELTS, I assist students to prepare for Occupational English Test as well which is meant for professionals in medical field. As this exam test the English communication skill in four components like listening, speaking, reading and writing, the test-takers will need to demonstrate their ability to understand and answer questions about general healthcare consultations and presentations, in addition to texts in a general healthcare setting. So my role is to make them write accurate, professional letters with the aid of given prompts and use speaking prompts to carry out appropriate and effective conversations with patients, relating to specific healthcare professions.

Teaching Experience in detail in Communication Skills Training

I have been training students to improve their communication ability for almost a decade. On completion of Bachelor of Arts course in English literature after graduation, I started my career as an high school teacher. At present I support those who are looking to improve their language skills solely to communicate better as well as those who are preparing for IELTS or OET exams. The communication development course syllabus include learning grammar, conversational English from beginner to advanced level, phonetics, techniques to improve vocabulary and so on. Aim of the course is; by the end of it a student should be able to converse in English in a fluent way while speaking or writing. For instance, he or she would be able to perform better in an interview or writing an informal, semi-formal or formal letter. Finally, course will be conducted online through Gmail video, ZOOM or Skype.
