IBM WebSphere Message Broker

"Me and my brother, we both have learned IIB V10 from Vibhor together and I would say he has been excellent explaining things. It was really the great experience learning IIB and write code in ESQL/Java both. Real time scenarios were taken during sessions. Today, I personally feel, developing RESTful web services is coolest thing in IIB. SOAP based webservice ( not so easy ) , MQ based services ( quite Interesting ). "

Java Training

"I am starting a new job in a few weeks and needed to learn Java and latest concepts like webservices, microservices. Vibhor not only taught me what I needed to know, he actually got me EXCITED to use these concepts ( program I've been avoiding my whole life). Vibhor, I can't thank you enough for giving me the confidence to start my new job on solid ground, and even be able to show my colleagues a thing or two. "

Java Training

"I have learned about webservices, microservices in Java from him. Actually, to be very honest, Initially I was little worried as I have had some online classes about these concepts but at the end, I was full of doubts and confused. I really appreciate the way he taught me and made me feel comfortable in all these things. He explains things nicely and motivate you to study every day. Also one thing i like about him is that he explain every thing as a friend not as a teacher so you can easily understand or feel free to ask any question. I truly admire his in-depth knowledge, approach and ideas. Today, I feel, developing RESTful web services is cool and fun. The combination of Spring Boot, Spring Web MVC, Spring Web Services, and JPA makes it even more fun. And it's even more fun to create Micro-services. Thank you Vibhor for taking so much efforts for me. "

Hi Pavan, my wife also used to work on Informix 4gl, but she has now learned new technologies like Microservices in Java, Apache Kafka, Mango DB, as there are very few projects in companies where 4gl is used. If you are looking for an alternative, then I think lots of projects are using Mongo DB with Java & cloud technologies. If you are a beginner to Java, then it will take some time for you to cop up with market demand as there is a lot of competition.

I would personally suggest you pick the technologies which are high in demand, and there are very fewer people working on those, for example, middleware technologies ( IBM MQ, IBM Integration Bus, TIBCO, Mulesoft ). You can pick any of them and start learning and apply for certification, would be right for your career. I personally like IBM MQ, IBM Integration Bus.

You can also look for scrum master role considering your experience and in parallel start learn new technologies which are in high demand. You will need to devote your extra time if you want to switch the technology. There are lots of options available. I wish you good luck and stay safe!
