Maya Elixir

As aptly said by Hans Bos ,"When I dance, I cannot judge, I cannot hate, I cannot separate myself from life. I can only be joyful and whole, that is why I dance". I am a self modifying homegrown artist. My journey in the field of dancing has all been about a consistent effort and persistent struggle and not just the flavour-of-the-month hype. I started my training in the Indian classical dance form of Kathak at the age of 6. Throughout my school and college life , I have been an active participant in folk dance and bollywood style ; be it is group dance or a solo performance. I am also fond of singing and trained a few years in Indian classical music. In my early college years, I also started training with a renowned hip hop dance academy but it is Belly Dancing that caught my eye and my interest. I started training with the help of internet and never looked back. Since 2009 , I have participated in a lot of events and competitions and also showcased my performances at various other events and as an enthusiastic artist , I now share my knowledge and experience with my students at Cafe Solo Baila Dance Studio!
