About the Course

ASP.NET is a server side web application framework designed to produce dynamic web pages i.e., webpage’s construction is controlled by an application server and the resultant HTML is sent to the client browser. ASP.Net can be written in any supported .NET language such as C#, F# or IronRuby.
Why Asp.NET
Making webpages with ASP.net has many advantages (over PHP or plain HTML) like having web services which means you can run webpages from different servers around the world, great XML support, the class library and complete compatibility with Microsoft products.
All big companies use ASP.Net rather than PHP because ASP comes with support from Microsoft and the code is more discsiplined.
The basic course on Asp.Net trains you on the basic syntax of how to make a page in ASP. Although to get Job market ready you should learn more frameworks like WCF or WPF, but you have to start with somewhere.
After you have trained in this course you will be able to create a big webpage using ASP.Net.
