It is not possible to say how many questions should be answered for any particular score. You entire test performance will be counted.

Hi, as everyone on the forum has pointed out, you got to do good in every aspect of the test in order to get a 79 in each module - Speaking, Writing, Reading and Listening. However, there are some guidelines: - Speaking: everything except Answer Short Questions. Reading: Reorder Paragraphs have the maximum weightage. The Multiple Choice questions are also important. Writing: Essay has double the weightage compared to Summarize Written Text Listening: Write from dictation you can score very high and therefore important These you should ace in the test. In writing spelling and of course grammar is very important. so if you are not sure about the spelling of any specific word, kindly use the synonym.
There is no minimum number of questions which needs to be answered correctly to get a 79 or 65 in PTE.
In listening Multiple choice multiple answers and Highlight incorrect words are negatively marked
Try to do as much as correct as possible.
