To print a string constant such as "Hello world" to any output device would require a function(printf for c/c++) , its arguments ("Hello world") and a termination character(';'). If all of these are provided with a suitable header (if required by compiler) then Hello World will be printed successfully on the screen. Eg. printf("Hello world"); Output: Hello world
