   Projects carried out during Academic Years

   At BVBCET, Hubli, Karnataka (Jan 2007 to May 2007):

· Carried out a project on Wind-Diesel Hybrid Energy Systems titled
"Analysis of wind diesel hybrid energy Systems".

o Tasks Involved

§ Recording and Tabulation of Wind Energy available pattern at the specified geographical location Hubli, (15° 20' N, 75° 12' E) and
MSL 640 meters for a duration of 6 months.

§ Modification of the existing diesel generator for manual mode to auto mode.

§ Design of Control unit to switch power generation mode from wind to Diesel based on the charge levels in the battery.

At VNIT, Nagpur, Maharashtra (….in progress):

· Working on Project titled "Thermal Analysis of bicycle Tires"

o Tasks Involved

§ Fabrication of the experimental setup.

§ Recording the temperature at various locations of the tire under.

· Free rolling condition

o Air as the medium inside the tube.

o Air-Water mixture as the medium inside tube.

o Tubeless tire.

 

· Yawed Rolling conditions

§ To check degradation in the mechanical, structural and composite properties due to temperature at different loading conditions.

At R.K. Enterprises, Gulbarga (July 2007 to Mar 2008):

· Worked as a Tech Lead at R.K. Enterprises for "Solar Water Heaters and Electrical Systems - V Guard Systems".

· Involved in Installation and commissioning of the solar based products.

· Involved in handling of government based projects.

· Carried out Repair, Modification work for Domestic and Government organizations.

 

At HCL Technologies, Bangalore (April' 2008 to July 2010):

 

· Worked as a Team Member for Meggitt Aircraft Braking Systems,
Aerospace Technical Publications project.

Ø Creation, Revision and Conversion of Component Maintance Manuals (CMMs) for Brakes, Brake Hydraulic system components using engineering source drawings.

Ø Conversant in using the simplified technical English.

Ø Quality check of the CMMs for STE errors and technical errors
(Major and Minor)

Ø Exploding the IGES model in disassembly sequence to create IPL figures and then IPL part list.

Ø Preparing the Testing section with reference ATP and FTI

Ø Preparing the Description section of the manual with the help of source control diagrams

Ø Preparing the disassembly and assembly section in accordance with the IPL.

Ø Preparing the cleaning, repair, inspection section with help of reference manual.

o Creation, Revisions and Modifications to the Engineering documents.

o Modifying the graphics and procedures in accordance with engineering design changes.

o Preparation of Checklists and Work instructions for technical projects.

o Prepared and involved in briefing training sessions for fresher recruitments with presentations of standards and procedures.
