IdentityI started teaching for the love for kids.I believe you should teach a subject to the child and not the subject to a child.I love younger students more and have sympathy for the weaker ones. But I would also like to help the students from the backward areas in understanding basics of English as the tend to lag behind due to the handicap in language.
As a teacher, I acknowledge that students are perfectly capable of achieving a lot even if there isn't a sensible teacher around.Obviously,they can do miracles if they find good teachers but the credit is entirely theirs.
I believe the language needs to be both caught as well as taught.
