About the Course
This course is designed to provide students with the necessary knowledge; skills and competencies to organize, manage and deliver an Orthopedic Rehabilitation programme within a Hospital and Community setting. This unique programme prepares you to work specifically in the area of orthopedic injuries and as well as primary prevention of Metabolic and joint diseases specifically in late stage rehabilitation.
Students will be equipped with knowledge of aspects of orthopedic diseases and surgical techniques, be exposed to the multi-disciplinary nature of effective orthopedic rehabilitation services and have the opportunity for experiential learning from a model team who are involved directly in both hospital and community-based orthopedic rehabilitation settings.
