I graduated from IIT Kanpur in 2015 with a B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering.I have always been passionate about teaching. So, after a short stint in industry, I transitioned to training students in Mathematics, a subject which I have loved since my school days.

In the last two and half years, I have trained several students in Mathematics for various competitive exams e.g. JEE Mains, JEE-Advanced, Mathematics Olympiad, GMAT, GRE, SAT, CAT, SSC, Bank PO as well as for 10th and 12th board exams. Many of them have been quite successful in achieving their targets.

My teaching methodology emphasizes on first building the fundamental concepts and gradually shifting the focus towards solving more advanced problems. The idea is to make Mathematics learning enjoyable to students, so that they feel thrilled and motivated to take on mathematical challenges. Mathematics learning, which is often seen by many as a tedious and boring process, can actually be a very satisfying, enriching, thrilling and joyful experience, if done in the right manner.

I have been fortunate to receive very good feedback from students, parents and the institutions I have worked with.

I am willing to mentor individual students. I am also open to collaborate with coaching institutes on hourly basis.

"If the word ASSASSINATION is put in a box and a word is drawn at random. What is the: 1) Probability of getting a letter A, 2) Probability of getting a letter S." in Exam Coaching/Math Olympiad

First of all the question should read " a letter" is drawn rather than "a word" is drawn. Now probability of any event E is given by P(E) = n(E)/n(S). where n(E) represents the number of elements of even E and n(S) represents the number of elements in the sample space S. Thus, Answer to Question (1) is 3/13 as n(S) = number of letters in ASSASSINATION= 13 and n(E) = number of A's in ASSASSINATION = 3. Similarly, answer to question (2) is 4/13 as n(S) =13 and n(E) = number of S's = 4.
