Database involves multiple areas. Database Development/design, Programming, Data Migration (ETL), Application DBA, Production... ...more
Hi Sahil, Its is good that you understand how tough it is to stand out in market. I have about 6 years of experience in SQL Server Database technology. So I can tell about that only. Database involves multiple areas. Database Development/design, Programming, Data Migration (ETL), Application DBA, Production DBA, Performance Tuning, Reporting tools like SSRS, Analytics like SSAS & R services, Automation using Powershell, and much more. All these areas of database are highly paid. Each has pros and cons. Like Production DBA may have to work in 24x7 support where Application DBA has lot of work compared to production DBA. Developers have highly paid than DBA but are mostly overburdened with work. DBA with Developer skill is also quite rare skill set. So I would suggest that go for SQL Server technology since it has variety of options that you can try when you enter into the field.

In how many days can i learn sql server dev.?

If you wish to learn T-SQL development, and go by Exam 70-461 (https://www.microsoft.com/en-in/learning/exam-70-461.aspx), I would say 3 months.
