You have 2 yrs of schooling and Min.3 years of graduation in your hand. In case the optional stays A graduation in your choice of optional subject will help you multipurpose, get you your graduation degree and help you prepare the optional with good help of teachers/faculties of your future institute. In case the optional goes A graduation which helps you compliment your overall preparation. As from your present Class XI subjects You can do BSc (Maths/Phys/Chem) or M.A/ B.A (Economics) But I still suggest , go for any graduation where you have general interest or aptitude. As the student years are nurturing time to develop all your faculties from a responsible student to responsible citizen and good human being. A strong interest when meets your aspiration (Civil Services) will definitely help not only to crack the exam but be a good role model to all.
