I am planning to take up German language classes to apply for jobs in Germany. I am a little confused due to the following factors: 1. How effective is online training? 2. I consulted many institutes .each of them offer different duration of course for same certification. I want to know how many hours of classes are required on an average to do a1 certification for a beginner.

when you are learning a new language, you should prefer one to one classroom sessions, as for online classes you will be more worried about the net connectivity and speed, as you'll be doing video conversation on google hangout or skype, i usually talk to my relatives and friends on them, and even then... ...more

Learning something new, online and that too a foreign language, is a very tedious task
