I started teaching C programming in Symbiosis college, Pune in 1992. I have been teaching C programming since 1993 and updated the curriculum as per the Industry standards of C language. There is no such criteria to learn C language for building a Logic if you want really to excel in Software Development in IT industry worldwide. I guarantee you, anybody can learn c programming irrespectie of stream. Follow my method of learning programming and excel in Software field. Literally, as per my experience, this field is open even for Non-programmers and Non-IT sector also.

Just follow my method and surely within two months by doing some exercises on your own, you can build your own logic and then eligible to go to the next step which is the Main Gateway of Programming Technology. math.h header files drives hundreds of maths functions along with one macro. This header file returns result as double and takes double as an argument.
Significance of string.h file
string.h header file drives string related functions . This header file defines any one variable type, one macro, and number of functions.
Basically header file contains Declarations, Definitions, and Macro of related number of functions which is defined in that particular header file.
