Cricket Career:
Started as a wicket keeper and opening batsman and later on continued as an all rounder playing as an off spinner
Played for YMCC Vasai since 1970 and captained the team for 10 yrs leading the team to many important victories in the taluka and Muncipality level Tournaments
Played for Bombay Dyeing from 1975 to 1984 and captained the team for 4 yrs
Played for BSES (Now Reliance Energy) from 1984 to 2005 and captained the team for 2 yrs. Promoted the team from ‘C’ Division to ‘B’ Division of the ‘Times Shield Cricket Tournament’ and also helped to win many other prestigious tournaments.
Played ‘A’ Division Times Shield Tournament with well known Mr. Amol Mazumdar and Test Player Mr. Nilesh Kulkarni being my team mates.
Played Dr.Kanga League Cricket Tournaments for New Hindu Cricket Club, Dahisar and captained the team for 5 yrs. Lead the team to promotions for 3 consecutive years from 1988 to 1990 from ‘D’ Division to ‘A’ Division

Batting Performance:
Hit many centuries and half centuries. The most notable being the double centuries in the Times Shield Tournament (223 and 206 in the ‘F’ Division and 226 in the ‘C’ division). Was awarded the Best Batsman prize in the Times Shield Tournament on two occasions

Coaching Experience: Have been coaching in Vasai under the banner of YMCC Vasai for 20 yrs
Presently coaching for boys under 14 and 16 at Goregaon Sports Clubs Academy and also coaching the team ‘Warriors’ for the GSC-PL tournament conducted at Goregao
