Teaching Experience in detail in Spoken English classes

My first job was that of a Headmistress/teacher in a primary school.That was many moons ago.Since then I have taught various levels across different syllabi(CBSE to IGCSE). My experience in teaching English as a foreign language to school students in Bahrain and later to working adults (employees at banks,hotels,municipality etc) gave me the skills and grounding required to pursue a career in this line in my later years.While in this job I attended several in- house training courses which helped me hone my skills as a teacher.I have always loved Poetry reading and Drama and have been involved in many drama productions as a student and later as a teacher,producing and directing plays. My stint as a teacher in an Alternative school in Mumbai(which follows the Steiner and IGCSE syllabus)opened up my creativity and deepened my understanding of teaching methods. The completion of that job led me naturally to training young children in Speech and the joys of Creative Writing.Side by side, I also taught adults Spoken English.Later on I conducted a training programme in Spoken English and Writing skills for a corporate in Mumbai .This was through a series of contact classes and the rest was done on Skype.I also had the pleasure of conducting Speech,Writing and Grammar workshops in two schools in Mumbai. Over the years I have gained rich experience and this along with my creativity,my love for teaching and empathy for learners has helped me train many students and put them on the road to success .
