I am a bilingual tutor, with numerous years of experience in both English and French; be it spoken, written or reading as well as fluent verbal exchange.

My preferred method of teaching is to use simple, direct and concise instructions, at small increments and gradually increasing the complexity of the subject matter. I like to know more about the person's interests so we can use these interests as a means to develop their understanding of the language they are learning. This includes reading materials, small assignments done in that language, and most importantly live discussions about that particular subject.

I have noticed that the keen interest allows the learner to focus more on the words available to them to explain themselves better since it is about a topic they like and want to discuss. I also ask regular inputs from the learner, to modify the existing approach and implement his / her suggestions to make each session more interesting.
