Nritya Vidya Nilaya

Nritya Vidya Nilaya was established in Mangalore in the year 1937 by U.S.Krishna Rao.
Nritya Vidya Nilaya Mumbai was established by Guru Smt Shailaja Madhusoodan, Daughter of shri U.S.Krishna Rao in the year 1986.
Guru Smt Shailaja Madhusoodan is a versatile choreographer, dancer, music director and singer.
Her students have presented and performed various dances and dance dramas both in Kannada and Hindi in Mumbai, Mangalore, Bangalore, dubai, Qatar, Nasik, Pune etc.
More than 3 dozens of her students have presented Arengetram under her able guidance.
Guru Smt Shailaja Madhusoodan has been honored with many laurels.
With her commitment perseverance and dedication to Indian art and culture, Guru Smt Shailaja Madhusoodan has generated a talented pool of disciples in a around bhandup, mulund and Powai suburbs of this great city!
