When I was also preparing for CAT, I too had faced problems to manage time for all the sections .Faced difficulty during self studies. Faced difficulty in managing my time for my strong and weak sections. I do believe you should better go for personal CAT coaching if you think you can give much time of your day for CAT preparation or you feel you will have difficulties in Institute coaching. I had studied from all Arun Sharma's a book before getting into IIM.Though you can take their crash course later when you have understood the basics and devoted much time in your preparation,you can apply for Test series. Good luck with your preparation.

I do believe you should better go for personal CAT coaching if you think you can give much time of your day for CAT preparation or you feel you will have difficulties in Institute coaching.
