How much time would be required to complete the SSC CGL course? Also, how many hours one needs to put on a daily basis to clear the exam?

It all depends on your previous understanding of the subjects. If you have had been a good student throughout, you may need just 2-3 months, and if you are starting from scratch, you will require 5-6 months of studying.
