Is ear twisting and pinching a good punishment for students under 10th? I have heard from some teachers ear twisting makes the brain work fast. How many of the teachers applying this as punishment ?

No, it is not. Any kind of physical punishment is not acceptable and should not be given to student of any class. Although the sad reality is that many teachers are still applying this as a tactic to manage students, In my opinion such practices should be highly discouraged.

Name the entrance exam for M.Sc in Biotech and Microbio.

In Panjab University, Chandigarh for M.Sc Biotechnology & M.Sc Microbiology there is an entrance examination known as CET, the marks of CET + the aggregate of your under graduation is given the weightage of 50% each. If you want to get into top institutions such as IIT etc, you will have to give IIT-JAM... ...more
In Panjab University, Chandigarh for M.Sc Biotechnology & M.Sc Microbiology there is an entrance examination known as CET, the marks of CET + the aggregate of your under graduation is given the weightage of 50% each. If you want to get into top institutions such as IIT etc, you will have to give IIT-JAM which is the entrance examination for M.Sc. Universities such as JNU conduct a joint entrance examination mostly involving around 29 universities for M.Sc Biotechnology and other courses. There are university level entrance examination for M.Sc programmes in mostly all universities. In Delhi University, In Department of Microbiology the admission is done on the basis of merit, same is the case of Thapar University. Hope this was Helpful
