IdentityI have twenty-five years of experience as a Montessori teacher. I completed the Montessori teacher training course and obtained a PGDM in Learning Disability from the Spactics Society of Karnataka. Teaching has always been my passion; I have provided home tuition.
I have also been able to handle the Department of Special Education for the Cambridge Board in an international school. However, my current interest lies in conducting online classes. I have received specialised training to work with students who have dyslexia, are slow learners, have learning disabilities, AD/HD, and have intellectual disabilities. During the pandemic, I started conducting online classes, and one of my students, a slow learner, made remarkable progress under my guidance. Within three years, he transitioned to a regular school and became a school leader at Ryan International School. Witnessing such transformations is incredibly fulfilling for me.
I offer online classes for grades one to five, covering curricula such as IB and IGCSE. Additionally, I specialise in providing support for students with special educational needs. My online classes are conducted for one hour, primarily using Zoom as the communication platform. To enhance the learning experience, I utilise resources like IXL, Twinkle Resources, and Study Ladder tools. To ensure students have access to necessary materials, I also send workbooks and additional resources via email. This allows them to practice and revise the concepts covered during our classes. By providing these supplementary materials, I aim to create a comprehensive learning environment for my students.
