Sanjoy Bardhan

A Mathematics graduate from St. Xavier's College, Kolkata and an MBA, I was in the IT industry for 10 years and was based in Thailand. I headed NIIT TECHNOLOGIES LTD. as their South East Asia head. Later I became a part of the Animation & VFX industry as the CEO of DIGITAL ASIA CONCEPTS Ltd. Bangkok, and my journey began with making TVCs, such as for Hero Honda Glamour, Kwality Walls, Whisper, Rejoice Shampoo, RICE Group, Nimyle, Nimglo, Adhunik TMT etc.
My first film was ZINDA, where I assisted Director Sanjay Gupta as his line producer.
My journey in the Bengali Cinema started in 2014 and my 2 films "Disha" & "FAKEBOOK" were released in 2015 on 6th March and 15th May respectively.
"BOXER" - A Love Story, is my third film got released on 5th January 2018.
My other 2 films are 'CHOWDHURY RAJBARI' which released on 8th December 2017 and ran successfully all over for 9 long weeks.
My 5th film 7 PAAPE BANDHA - has been in the Official Selection of the International Film Festivals - EFF BRICS 2017, CARDIFF INTERNATIONAL FILM FESTIVAL 2017.
My other films are, REVOLVER (Censor certificate obtained, awaiting release), BROTHER (under production).

I have been Teaching "acting" related courses as visiting faculty is many Film & Television Institutes in Kolkata, such Derozio Memorial College (UGC sponsored), Limelight Institute, etc.
