How does one build a solid & reliable brand for Spoken English courses amidst so many brands available in market? Presently looking for advice on how good is this industry and what is the minimum requirement to launch in this business without a franchisee support.

If your focus is more on verbal communicative English then you need to follow a model which is not followed by many of the renowned English Spoken Institutes. If your focus is more on verbal communicative English then you need to follow a model which is not followed by many of the renowned English Spoken Institutes. The training methodology is very different for Verbal and Written English. If you stress more on Grammar in Verbal English it might not be effective. Rather you need to create a model which allows you to interact with your trainees and provide them with a platform where in they try to speak in English and hence build up their confidence. How to overcome fumbling?

You generally fumble when you are short of words or short of confidence or short of the subject knowledge you are speaking on. If your vocabulary is weak it does not mean that you can not converse in English. You can still do so provided you are confident enough to speak in that language. In order to... ...more
You generally fumble when you are short of words or short of confidence or short of the subject knowledge you are speaking on. If your vocabulary is weak it does not mean that you can not converse in English. You can still do so provided you are confident enough to speak in that language. In order to build up your confidence levels you can apply the mirror method as suggested by Dr. Sripathy.. Chose any topic on your own and speak on that topic by maintaining an eye contact with your reflection in the mirror. It will immensely help you to build up your confidence and the fear of rejection will automatically vanish after few days of practice. Please remember that " Rome was not built in a day ". Its a continuous process.
