IdentityAs part of Teach For India, I taught 2nd (and subsequently 3rd grade) for two years in a low-income government school in Mumbai.
During those two years, I tutored a student for Class XI and XII Economics, a 16-year old student from an NGO for passing Class IV and V and a young 4 year-old boy whom I taught phonics and comprehension.
In my third-year of college, I took remedial classes for children of the workers of our college. I also interned with World Wide Fund where I worked with hundreds of students to spread awareness about clinate change and environment.
Currently, I am studying to attain a Commercial Pilot License and decided to pursue my love of teaching by taking tutorials.I am confident to teach students of all age-groups. I find pleasure in differentiating my lesson plans and catering to a child's learning needs. I believe in inclusive education, the one that teaches us to holistically view the world and make decisions in the best interest of the community. Along with remediation, I will ensure that your student gets a conceptual understanding and develops a love for the subject.
