World Health Organization (W.H.O) - National Polio Surveillance Project (India)
Position: Management Assistant (East Region)
• Responsible for scheduling, controlling expenses, maintaining and supplementing inventory processes and protecting company assets through reinforcement of loss prevention procedures.
• Computing and dispersing monthly payroll and benefits for all medical officers in 27 WHO offices in the east region.
• Organizing and facilitation of training programs by ensuring smooth functioning of technological aspects during a training session as well as logistical requirements of upto 80 medical officers including their travel, accommodations needs and providing the basic hygiene needs within the office.
• Coordinating communication between the regional office with various levels of the organization and their respective government counter-parts.
• Leading part in ensuring safety of Doctors and employees visiting the affected geographical areas; egg. Alerting the UNITED NATIONS Department of Safety and Security (U.N.D.S.S) of a highly Maoist Attack prone area in Medinipur, West Bengal for the protection of W.H.O’s officers and personnel.
