IdentityThe French language maintains its rank as number 2, in terms of number of countries where French is the native language. In fact, there are today 29 countries, whose native language is French, including France, Canada, Switzerland, Belgium, Luxembourg, and many countries in the African continent. This clearly highlights the importance of the French language, on a global scale, being second in number after English.
