I am patient and understanding.I believe in allowing students to make mistakes and I provide logical and encouraging feedback.I have the ability to explain the grammatical rules of English and can assist students to appreciate literature. I can say that I have helped many a student to gain proficiency in writing and speaking English for the last nine years.

I started teaching after I had to suffer losses in my attempts to run an enterprise. I have been teaching for the last 10 years. I love the fact that I am assisting individuals to gain proficiency in using English, for their benefit. My style is to make students understand that their part if learning is to attempt tasks and identify errors, with my help, and to remove them one by one. My use of humor while teaching is my strength. The topics that I like to teach are grammar and writing skills. I also like to teach prose. I feel more comfortable teaching students of grade IX and above. As a teacher I have learnt that students are more willing to apply themselves if they find the subject matter interesting. I have been able to make many non-English speaking students gain the confidence and be comfortable and proficient in their use of English. During the last 4 years I have use 'TeachNext', more as a book than as a teaching aid.
