I have Worked in CA firms for more than four years (Fields like Accounting, Income Tax, GST, Auditing, Project Finance, etc.) which gives me an edge of practical scenario along with the academics. This practical experience helps me to teach interactively (giving a realistic touch on each topic), which the students grasp it quickly.
For me, Accountancy is a flow of information which requires brain mapping which is eventually concluded through financial statements (Balance Sheet & Profit & Loss Statement usually). This makes the subject more interesting and easy to understand. I also impart the same to my students.
Direct Taxes (Income Tax Laws) and Indirect Taxes (GST, Value Added Taxes and Service Tax) are the subjects which require practical knowledge to make the students efficiently understand the issues. I have got that realistic touch.
Of course, Auditing, Financial management, etc. are also the parts of the profession I am pursuing.
