You may consider doing a Swot analysis for yourself and create a carefully drafted, well rehearsed introduction to start with. Then comes the place of building rapport and connecting with your potential workplace. A little knowledge of body language can perhaps pull you through most of the interviews unless its a technical knowledge round.

You would find it surprising that most of the interviews does not get cleared with what you say you can do. It gets cleared when your interviewer perceives that you have the capability that they are looking for.

Well theres nothing wrong to try out newer ways of attending interviews. At the most you may lose of on the first few. So go ahead give it a shot, who knows your next interview can change your life. «less

If you accept the above then ...
To overcome a potentially embarrassing situation there are a range of skills that really need to be honed.esp. Negotiation Skills, Resource Management (!?) , Communications skills, ability to use "Honesty" in a skillful way, etc.
Yes, a very specific training program will be helpful after which you need to be launched into several real time interview situations.
Select as many low impact (not interested) companies as you care and walk in for the interviews without a care in the world.
Since there is no self imposed pressure, you have had a training in the methodologies AND you would have had a lot of content... you will DEFINITELY improve in leaps and bounds... THEN and only then go for the job interview of you choice.
As you will realize you will need to invest in time , which is usually around 2 months (pushing 3 months) ... a very short time compared to years many people take to land a good job !!!
Remember : There is nothing like "My dream job interview is within your stipulated training period" : School of Hard Knocks. «less

Hello Mithun!
First things first- before you even open your mouth to answer the interviewer's questions, you start creating impressions as soon as you walk in the door. Within the first 7 seconds, an interviewer will make judgments about whether you are worth his time!
So, here are basic skills you need to have-
1. What are you wearing- wear appropriately formal clothes- check company's profiles to see what kind of industry they are in and what kind of clothes would be appreciated.
2. How are you wearing- just throwing on a shirt and trousers won't work. Put some thought in to it- does your shirt fit well, do your trousers sit appropriately at mid waist and not low waist, is your tie tied in a nice knot and falls to your belt- not lower or higher- are your shoes polished, do your shoes and belt match, if you are wearing a jacket is it tailored to your body shape, how many rings are there on your fingers (not more than one on a hand)
3. How do you look- is your hair trimmed, are your nails trimmed, do your socks match your trousers, are your teeth clean, if you have a tendency to sweat have you taken measures to control it, do you have a lot of religious threads on your wrists?
4. How do you walk- does your walk show confidence or tension? how do you enter the room, how do you knock on the door?
5. How do you shake hands- is it a confident hand shake? do you know if you have a limp handshake or a bone crusher? do you smile and look in to the eyes of the interviewer as you shake hands?
6. How do you sit- how do you pull out a chair and take your seat? do you sprawl out on the chair or do you sit nervously? do you lean backwards on your chair or forwards or do you sit erect? do you fidget with your hands or do you keep them calmly folded? where do you keep your bag and folder etc when you sit?

All these things come together to create an image of you in the interviewer's mind. His questions will be based on what he thinks about you and what impression you have created on him the moment you walked in.
A word of caution- the way you appear and behave is supremely important no doubt, but make sure you back it up with substance. Looking good without having any depth of character will put off the interviewer. So prepare well for the interview as well.
How you do anything is how you do everything! Sloppy in dressing equates to sloppy in life. Make sure the way you look outside is a true reflection of who you are on the inside! «less

If the company format has a section 'Optional Message' it can be seen as an 'Out of the Box' question. In such a case, you can add some more information about yourself like those mentioned by other facilitators on this forum or how your selection can add value to the organization, your values statement and so on.

Vikash replied | 02/12/2015

It is basically your cover letter, where you can brief about your profile, it's some extra information to the technical team or hiring manager. It is a way of defining yourself in few words , which will give an insight about you before opening your resume.

Speak slow and steady. Give a pause(but not for too Long) after every sentence you speak. Make Active Listening so you know exactly what the question is build your thought process towards it. Pick a topic and start talking infront of the mirror for half an hour a day.
