How can I fix the lag when I use a second screen on Linux?

if you mean lag with screen framebuffer, it could be you Graphics driver issue. try updating your system by apt update && apt upgrade. or maybe you can go for proprietary graphics driver from vendor's site like AMD or Nvidia.

How can I change a Linux root password and a SQL privilege password?

sudo passwd root this command will prompt to change password for root. for sql password you need to open sql prompt and do "alter user 'username' identified by 'new_password"

How can I force close a Linux program?

2 steps: 1. get PID of app : a. pgrep "appname" b. ps af | grep "appname" 2. use kill command to kill it. ex : kill -9 PID other alternative pkill appname
