"When dancing, the world lies before me on the stage, in my lifts, in my cabalistic body and in cognizance. From this passage I never return truly needy or worn out."
I believe that there are two ways of being ingenious. One can make melody and sway. Or one can dream up an ambience in which both melodists and danseuses flourish. I never think about things; I just do it.
A young talented budding Bharatanatyam dancer, from the temple town of Lord Balaji, Tirupati, the most popular pilgrim centre in India located in Chittoor district, Andhra Pradesh, I have done my entire schooling from Tirupati. Besides Bachelors degree in Technology, I have also given my final semester exams and awaiting results for my Master of Arts in Bharatanatyam.
I commenced the basic training in Bharatanatyam at the age of 5 under the Guru Smt. Sasikala and soon after I had undergone a dynamic training under the guidance of,Guru Sri Chennamsetty Haranath (Bharata kalaratna), the disciple of late Smt. Usha Srinivasan (Senior student of Padmasri K.N. Dandayudhapani Pillai), Chennai. I consider very fortunate to be under the guidance of Guru, Kalaimamani Smt. Chamundeswari, for a year during my stay in the UK. I also learnt nattuvangam from my Guru Sri. Haranath and even accompanied him in several concerts. It was my pleasure to work with Smt. Swathi Mahalakshmi (Bharatanatyam, Kuchipudi and Odissi dancer, Hindustani and Carnatic singer) during her performance in CMC, Vellore. Currently I am training under her in Hyderabad to further enhance my skills.
