This is for mechanical stream, for those who are interested in Product Development, Design and simulation. Mentoring young engineers in design and simulation techniques entry level to advanced level. To begin with I will teach how auto OEMs will develop new vehicles, how they validate design using virtual techniques, software tools and processes they follow. Training is based on real life industrial projects, focused more on problem understanding, process to follow, tools to solve it. I can guide final year students, UG or PG, in their thesis topic selection, execution and how to delivery to faculty to complete their course.

CAE basics, CAE tools for model build, simulation. This includes Hypermesh, Ansa, Ansys, Nastran, Optistruct, LS- Dyna. Product development, Design basics, OEM best practices. How best we can use CAD and CAE tools in Product development to speed up the process, cost cutting, minimize physical testing. Component level to full model simulation, assembly techniques, model debugging. Modeling techniques include 1D, 2D and 3D meshing, in other way, Beam, Shell and Solid elements. Simulations include Modal, Structural, NVH, Crash, Durability, Optimization. Practice projects include Automotive, Aerospace, General Engineering, Biomechanics, all derived from industry, no academic projects.
