I would suggest that you plan to take IELTS Academic. To improve your speaking and writing band scores, you will probably need about two months of practice. Many people find that reading and listening are comparatively easier to prepare for. I would suggest that you read as much as you can in English and watch English TV channels to increase your familiarity with typical English accents.
