How can you teach 7-8 year old kid to learn/memorize tables. Since kids these days are taught logic of addition and arriving at the multiplication result, they are reluctant to memorize the tables.

Vedic maths helps teach tables by teaching them to multiply. We teach them how tables are formed and how it is unnecessary to keep addition as a way of learning the tables or memorising them by heart. We teach them how tables are formed and how it is unnecessary to keep addition as a way of learning the tables or memorising them by heart. Maths taught to students in primary classes has all the basic operations but the way of dealing with the calculations is what Britishers left us with. Our own culture had better and refined ways of teaching these operations in a logical way .You can try such a class to make maths fun and easy for your kid.Regards.
