IdentityI have extensively learnt Hindustani Classical Music, Rabindra Sangeet and Old Bengali Music since the age of 6. I pursued my degree in Philosophy and Music from Bengal Music College, Calcutta University. I have also completed my BA Music Honors from Rabindra Bharati Vishvavidhyalay. I have also completed certification courses in Music like Sangeet Pravakar. I have trained extensively under Mukta Bhide and Pandit Vinayak Torvi.
I first performed for AIR Kolkata in year 1983 in the Yuvabharati Program. Since 2014, i have been performing for AIR Delhi in the categories of Semi classical music and Bhajans. I have also released two semi-classical albums under the Mystica Records Label and one independently on Soundcloud.
