• Learn Microsoft Office - Word, Excel & PowerPoint. It is basic. To know these software doesn't mean you need to be advanced level user but yeah you should be proficient enough to carry out general corporate work. 

• PowerBI, any accounting software like Tally or any employee management software would be an added advantage. 

• Since you are from an MBA background, you must be good with business and communication English. If not, brush up yourself. 

• Try to go through your MBA learning once again and also get an idea about current need of the market as per the role applying.

Just be confident, convince the interviewer that why you had this long gap and what value addition you may bring with your role.

• Architects use trigonometry to calculate structural load, roof slopes, ground surfaces and many other aspects, including sun shading and light angles

In physics, trigonometry is used to find the components of vectors, model the mechanics of waves (both physical and electromagnetic) and oscillations, sum the strength of fields, and use dot and cross products. Even in projectile motion you have a lot of application of trigonometry.
