All types of opposition to current flow are measured in ohms ?? . 1. Resistance RR is the opposition to current flow due to the resistive elements of the circuit. In other words, RR is the contribution to ZZ of the resistors in the circuit. 2. Capacitive reactance XCXC is the opposition to current flow due to the capacitive properties of the circuit. In other words, XCXC is the contribution to ZZ of the capacitors in the circuit. 3. Inductive reactance XLXL is the opposition to current flow due to the inductive properties of the circuit.
