»About Courses



Acoustic/Electric Guitar



For beginners, we start with the correct way of holding a guitar and basic rudiments and theory. Gradually, we help them in playing different notes on the fretboard, open chords (major and minor, scales and arpeggios), strumming simple rhythms and well-known songs and tuning the guitar.







Western Classical Guitar



To play the classical guitar, learners are first taught the correct way of holding a guitar and then move on to staff notation, sight reading techniques, finger style picking (Pima). They are also guided to play notes on the fretboard, improvise and develop left and right hand techniques.







Bass Guitar



Learning to play this instrument would again require the learners to hold the guitar in the correct way and instructions will be directed towards left and right hand techniques, scales, jamming, tuning, technique of sight reading, playing notes on the fretboard and knowledge of basic rudiments and theory.







Piano/Keyboard



The learners are initiated into the learning process by giving them a brief view about staff notation, different chords, left and right hand exercises and their coordination. Guidance is provided for improvising and playing simple chords and well-known songs.







Drums



Learning drums would include teaching of basic techniques for both hands and feet movement, basic rock grooves or rhythm and how to play along a song using a suitable rhythm. During these sessions, knowledge of staff notation, sight reading and improvisation would also be imparted. The learners would explode different styles of music like rock, jazz, funk, pop etc. Moreover, they would also be learning double bass.







Western Vocal Training



Contemporary style of singing would be followed with focus on Soft, Rock, Jazz, Blues, Country, R and B, Soul and other contemporary vocals. Improvement of pitch, tone and range would be done and awareness of different registers would be given. The training would include stage techniques, harmonizing staff notation, sight reading and correction in rhythm if required.

The course is being followed here are certified by:

3. Associated board of Royal School of music, UK







After the completion of each level in the respective courses, students are given guidance and proper resources material like CDs, notes and support to clear the examinations from one of the above mentioned boards. The exams are held in the centre itself.
