Teaching in school was lot of fun but challenging at the same time. A teacher has to ensure the development of understanding of the topic in all the students. I personally feel that effect of teaching in the bigger classrooms gets diluted. It is mandatory for the teacher to have one on one contact with each of the student to know their way of grasping things and tweaking his teaching methodology to address the same.

I taught at East Point school for 1 Year. It was quite an interesting experience. Interacting with young minds is very refreshing and at the same time full of responsibility. No child is bad or good, just each one has different techniques of learning and I strive to find that first. If the teacher is able to identify the learning procedure of each child he/she can easily make him/her understand the concepts. It must not be the same solution for everyone. Hence it is very very important to keep the class sizes small. Here comes the role of individual coaching. This can become one of the best ways to understand the child and teach him by tweaking your methods as per the child. I love to teach and child's growth is my reward.

I have taught young kids for about 4 years. With young kids very professional approach may not work. So I used to include emotion in my teaching to connect with them. To keep their attention focused for long time is a challenge, as naturally they are very active and some are naughty as well. I used to come up with different ways to impart concepts to them ex. I created animation videos, different DIY stuffs, voice recordings etc. I myself is a soft and emotional person so gel with kids instantly and they enjoy my teaching.

Students of class 8/9 are somewhat grown and extra effort to catch their attention is not required unlike class 1-5 kids. I taught two class 8 students for 1.5 years. They were quite intelligent and self motivated to learn. This is like a gift for the teacher that his/her student is so keen to learn. I completed their whole syllabus in half time.
