Rashingam Ngoruh

Rashingam had a very successful career in tele-marketing and travel industry in New Delhi for many years which however was very stressful and lifeless to his taste. Growing up in the very bosom of Mother Nature amidst beautiful hills and valleys in Manipur also called “the Jewel of India”, he always had an undying love and fascination for nature and developed the hobby of photography at an early age. Later with his hobby becoming his passion and his passion becoming an obsession, he quit his profession to follow his dream of becoming a photographer – helping people treasure special moments in life and telling stories to provide inspiration through his photography
.
Starting as the unofficial and sometimes an uninvited photographer in different events, he further developed a special ability to capture moments especially in weddings. Realising that he could make a difference in people’s lives in his own unique way through his photography, he found a greater sense of purpose and satisfaction for his life. With a list of awards to his name, Rashingam Ngoruh has established himself as a seasoned photographer travelling in different parts of India on invitation to cover weddings and to hold photo exhibitions of his works ranging from nature, landscape, faces, to abstract photography.

Winner of the 3rd INDIAN HIMALAYAN PHOTOGRAPHY COMPETITION 2013

In 2012, he was awarded the “The Best Concept photography” by the Afflatus 2.0 Delhi. And few months later he was awarded the 2nd runner up for the “Best Landscape photography” by Manipur Tourism forum on World Environment Day.

Stating his ideology in his own words, he states that “Photography is the means to capture a moment in time which you cherish for the rest of your life”
