"Factorise: 14x6 – 45x3y3 – 14y6" in   CBSE/Class 9/Mathematics, Tuition/Class IX-X Tuition

Let us put x3 = a and y3 = b so that 14x6 – 45x3y3 – 14y6 = 14a2 – 45ab – 14b2 = 14a2 – 49ab + 4ab – 14b2 = (2a – 7b) (7a + 2b) ? 14x6 – 45x3y3 – 14y6 = (2x3 – 7y3) (7x3 + 2y3)

"What do you think would be the observation if the ? -particle scattering experiment is carried out using a foil of a metal other than gold?" in   CBSE/Class 9/Science, Tuition/Class IX-X Tuition

A major fraction of the alpha particles bombarded towards the gold foil through it without any deflections and hence most space in atom is empty some a-particles deflects a little so +ve charge is not uniformly distributed it is in a small volume very few are deflected back and even fewer particles have 180 degree deflection so +vely charged particles in an atom is very small in volume in an atom

"Why we can get the smell of perfume sitting several metres away?" in   CBSE/Class 9/Science, Tuition/Class IX-X Tuition

When perfume is released from the bottle it quickly changes into vapor. The perfume vapor moves rapidly in all the directions as it is volatile. The kinetic energy of the gas molecules is high and the rate of diffusion is high .Hence, we can get the smell of perfume sitting several meters away.

"What is Newton's second law?" in   Tuition/Class IX-X Tuition

The acceleration produced of an object is directly proportional to the net applied force in the direction of the applied force and inversely proportional to the mass of the body . " So , 'a' directly proportional to F/m (where a=acceleration due to gravity , F=net force , m=mass of body) => a=kF/m ( where k is a proportional unit ) => a=F/m => F = ma
