IdentityCompletely self taught as a photographer he specializes in documentary and people photography. An avid traveler, working and playing with natural light and subjects of social and cultural interest is his forte.
He is currently working on a long term photo and video documentary called – ‘Bangalore Techies’ and on a project on ‘Fear and Gender in Public Spaces’. He is also pursuing a photo project called ‘Bangalore – The Urban Jungle’ which takes a look at Bangalore and its uncontrolled and chaotic development.
Vinayak has been one of the most popular new age wedding photographers in India. His contemporary photo-journalistic style of wedding photography has been noticed at various circles and he has been nominated in the Kodak Wedding Photographer of the Year 2010 contest organized by Better Photography. Vinayak along with his wife Snigdha run Photo Tantra, a company dedicated to Wedding Photography across India.
